I was absent today and Ms. Reed taught my classes. Students completed an activity in which they read a short story called The Drawbridge. Students then placed blame on different characters according to their actions. She then led an activity in which students ranked behaviors on their moral and ethical principles. The behaviors are those which characters will do in our upcoming play, Romeo and Juliet.

Classwork: Read these directions and do the following:

  1. Find your poem on the front desk.
  2. Highlight or circle the figurative language in your poem and label it in the margin.
  3. Staple your rubric to the front of your poem and make sure your name is on the rubric.
  4. Students who wish to share their poems will have that opportunity.

Create a foldable for our drama vocabulary. We will have a quiz on these terms next week.
